Eric Brody

With over fifteen years experience working with large corporations, small start-ups, and industry associations Eric has proven that creating engaging and interactive experiences enables organizations to harness the power of their employees and create competitive advantage. Eric has successfully designed and implemented a wide range of successful employee engagement experiences for clients. Examples of interactive and engaging experiences include: System Innovation Experience (SIX), a business simulation that focused on encouraging collaboration in the sportswear industry to address systemic global challenges in the supply chain; Factory Lean Sim (FLS), an engagement that motivated leaders to integrate LEAN 2.0 into their short- and long-term decisions; and Manager Excellence Next Wave, an interactive experience that helped managers incorporate proven management techniques to improve team morale and productivity.

Eric has taken leadership roles in many industry collaborative working groups and non-profit organizations to create industry standards, develop tools, provide content expertise, and cultivate change throughout industry. Eric’s roles have included Founding Executive Committee Member with the GreenBlue Sustainable Packaging Coalition; Corporate Partner with the EPA SmartWay Program; Benchmarking and Standards Development with BSR’s Ethical Sourcing Working Group, Standards Development and Rollout Team with the Sustainable Water Working Group; and Corporate Partner with the Climate Savers Program.

Prior to co-founding Industrial Game & Design, Eric worked for Nike for seven years as the business integration manager and for Nau for three years as the sustainability director. Nau is a technical outdoor and urban clothing company recognized for its innovative practices.

When not working, Eric enjoys hiking, sampling the wide array of globally inspired food options in Portland, and putting on a pair of skis or snowshoes for mountain adventures in the winter months.
